The elins are not to be underestimated as their knowledge greatly surpasses that of an average person. Father Blackwood uses the powers of the Perverse to warp reality into one where he is the emperor of a dictatorship in Greendale, where witches are hunted and executed, and Sabrina Spellman is the most wanted. The elins (Second Human Empire: Hamo Wiu'tujkki Jui'lliu) of Pora Elinu are known for their feminine appearance, elins feature unique tails and ears with an addition of a jumpy attitude.
The Perverse is represented by the statuette of an imp that Father Blackwood steals from a salesman. The tower is also the reported location of the mirror, formerly from Crowe Manor, which forms a gateway to Lenith Eventide's Eldritch Sanctum, after Sebastian Crowe rescued it from the burning Crowe Manor using Thunderstep in Episode 15. The Perverse is the fourth of the Eldritch Terrors to arrive in Greendale. Also around the gap are pieces of rock, debris from the tower, that are orbiting the breach. It can be seen that someone has strung a rope ladder, connecting the upper and lower pieces of the tower. But in defiance of gravity and logic the top piece of the tower did not fall, but remains, hovering in place. When the city was hit by the infamous meteor 15 years ago, a piece of the meteor hit the tower squarely about two fifths of the way up.
The most notable thing about the mage guild's tower though is the large ~25 foot gap, separating the lower section from the top-most part of the spire.
Together with Castle Drakken and the Spires of the Cathedral of Saint Virtuvio give the city its distinctive appearance of a great, thorny crown. The Grand Tower of the Amethyst Academy is singularly the tallest structure in Drakkenheim, standing at 360 feet tall.
